Welcome To The New
Many of you are aware that Online Learning is the newest and most popular form of distance education today. The Bronx CB7 Community Leaders Learning Lab is conducted using a newly implemented program hosted via Internet platform. The Community Leaders Learning Lab contains train-the-trainer resources, webinars, guidebooks, activity sheets, roundtables, and toolkits for Board Officers, Committee Chairs and Committee Members.
Our training modules are selected from BoardSource (highly recommended by the NYC Mayor’s Office) and other favorable training providers which supports community leaders with customized diagnostics, live and virtual trainings, and a comprehensive library of governance resources.
Everything we need — our training calendar, bulletin board, chat-rooms, e-mail, assignments, grades, etc., will be housed within this one system. If you are not a computer genius, you can still take advantage of the trainings without a problem. Some computer savvy is helpful. However, if you are familiar with sending emails and such, then extensive knowledge is not necessary.
